Say Hi to Paige! 

I have this friend, one of my very best friends actually, and she is a crochet genius, among other things. Her name is Paige and today I am here to tell you all about her little business: Minor Creations.

When I said that Paige was a crochet genius, I meant it. Not only does she crochet such things as baby blanket and door stops, Paige come up with her own ideas too. Like her new reusable face Scrubbie that she asked me to trial a couple of weeks ago when I popped in for a visit while I was home. The idea behind it was that, being made from 100% cotton it would be soft on the skin, while also exfoliating the skin. I can say, hand on heart, after using it for nearly three weeks: it works!

As someone who has sensitive and eczema prone skin, after the first time I used this little Scrubbie, my face was a little red, but that is just something I encounter whenever I try something new. It helped to take off all my makeup with my usually face wash and cleanser, in fact, it did such a good job that when I ran a micellar soaked cotton wool pad, which is part of my makeup removal routine, there was no makeup left for it to have to take off. It’s great, leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth and will even take off light, every day make with just water. Plus, as it is kinder on my skin, I personally find it to be better than the standard makeup wipes. When you’re done, simply pop it on a radiator or on a sunny windowsill, which in this weather won’t be too hard to find, and it will dry in no time.

I think that they’re ace and will of course be stocking up. Paige’s offers two colourways, made up of four Scrubbies each: Sunset and Sea-foam. Now, as a girl who loves the ocean and secretly wishes, actually not so much a secret, that she were a mermaid, I think we can all hazard a guess as to which collection I’ll be going for!

Like I said before, Paige doesn’t just crochet these little face Scrubbies, she does hats, I actually have a hat sat at her house but I’m back in Lincoln now, and in this weather, who really needs to walk around in a woolly, adorable pompom hat (they are also available without the pompoms). But hey, stock up while you can.
